Our mission is to put God’s word into action by helping poor and homeless individuals regain control of their lives. We want to proclaim that “God loved the world so much, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." We believe in treating each person with love, dignity, and respect. By serving their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, we get to know each individual as a person, and we can then minister to them more effectively. Building a relationship with individuals that are homeless is a long road. It takes dedication, perseverance, compassion, and a lot of prayer. Jesus says in Matthew 5:13-16, that we (His church) are the salt and light of the world, so we want to let our light shine before men, that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to be a like a lighthouse, showing “the least of these” the way to rebuild their lives by the power of Jesus Christ. With a strong community of believers surrounding them, and while individually building a relationship with Jesus, we believe they will claim victory over their battles.

OUR MISSION
To proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone that we come into contact with while ministering on the streets. Mission of Love provides physical and spiritual help to the poor and needy of Newark, NJ.

SALVATION
Salvation comes as a result of believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was crucified, died, and rose from the dead as a sufficient payment for the sins of man. Salvation is a free gift from God to all, and cannot be earned through our own efforts. It is only by trusting in Jesus Christ that we can be saved from an eternal separation from God. Eternal life begins the moment you receive Jesus Christ into your life through faith.
